Took my daughter to Barnes and Noble today. Once I saw this book I had to get it for her. She enjoys feeling the textures for all of the animals. This is one of my favorite books that I’ve bought for her. I like the bird, turtle, frog and seal pages in the book.

Hazel would like me to give this book a higher rating based on the bird feathers she likes to rip out in handfuls, but I just can't get over the darkness of the concept of a bunny visiting other animals at the zoo. Sara likes to point out the risk of salmonella whenever we pat the turtle.

Loved this more than the original! I liked the rhythmic cadence, the variety of animals, and the expansion of tactile experiences for the audience. The board book format wins out over the original, "Pat the Bunny," for sturdiness while the content is updated for the modern kiddos. I adored the turtles and the seals! While I did not add this to my personal library, I would consider it as a gift for others.

This has lots of fun textures to tough, as one would expect. The bird's feather even seems to be hanging in there, although I wonder if the library has reattached it. The story is simple, rhyming and appropriate. I found the art to be rather uninteresting; nothing- the lines, colors, shapes, textures, etc- seems to be particularly expressive except the original wobbly bunny .

We first read this book when our baby was nearly 2 months old. She loved it then and she loves it now at nearly 10 months old. And now she is old enough to interact with us while we read it. She had a great time comparing soft and bumpy, smooth and wrinkly. And who can forget the sticky frog's tongue.

A great balance of words per page/picture, and also some of the bestest touch-n-feels around. I would go for a five star even, if it weren't for that pesky romanticized version of "Cagelandia" (as I like to call it).

Love the tactile part plus the cute story. My grandson will love it!

Nice addition to the Pat the Bunny series. Lots of good textures for babies to explore. One page features a feather that can be easily ripped apart.

Is it wrong that I don't really like these?

This was a great, tactile book! I like how the frog's tongue was actually sticky!

Kiddo is a big fan of Pat the Bunny and Peek-a-Boo Bunny, and so far the fluffy bird feathers in here are the hit of the last pile of kids' books I brought home, so...
