They are those who even abandon their humanity if they're pressed hard to outdo monsters. People who can't throw away something important can never hope to change anything!” I'm beyond addicted at this point. Amazing!

    This is where the story starts getting really interesting for me. The "aberrants" and the Titans that are made up of humans lend a real interesting twist, but this female really seems to kick a lot of ass. I also love the whole discussion of trusting your team versus your own intuition. There's definitely no strict answer here. Especially since I know what's in store, this becomes even more interesting in light of Erin's current choice. A lot of hard-won lessons are going to get upset This is where the story starts getting really interesting for me.     So we've got the female titan out looking for Eren and just in general fucking things up. Why you gotta kill the horses? She seriously just chucks them. (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] Here's something I'd like to point out though. The art, as a whole, isn't really that great. I think Isayama does a great job portraying movement and tense, suspenseful action, but most of the time the So we've got the female titan out looking for Eren and just in general fucking things up. Why you gotta kill the horses? She seriously just chucks them. (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] Here's something I'd like to point out though. The art, as a whole, isn't really that great. I think Isayama does a great job portraying movement and tense, suspenseful action, but most of the time the art is pretty messy. There are moments though where I see potential for something more polished, like this: But then just a couple of pages before that we got this: It took me way too long to try to figure out what was going on in the top right panel. The story is actually really entertaining now, but I just wish the quality of the art matched it.

    Well that was quick! I feel like they kind of held back the action in last few volumes, but in this one, all hell broke lose. I don't think I'll be able to stop until I read every volume that's currently out. On to the next one!

The introduction of a new type of titan and the mystery around its purpose made for an intriguing and gore-filled run, but the artwork is still pretty amateur most of the time. There was also a huge focus on trust, both in one's self and in one's team. I still find that there's too much spelled out for the reader in the character's thoughts, but I'm just going to go on with this series thinking that it's the author's style.< A much shorter volume, yet it was one of the most interesting ones yet.     Intense... with anime soundtracks twice more intense! It is nice to see Eren becoming more mature and calm. Maybe thanks to Levi? I wish I hadn't spoiled myself with the female titan. I know who she is, but still I wonder how she became a titan. I love characters more and more now. I even liked Jean! He has become a nice guy even though he still express his feelings openly. I think I like that character of his. By the way, I like the art now as well. It is nice to see that authors deve Intense... with anime soundtracks twice more intense! It is nice to see Eren becoming more mature and calm. Maybe thanks to Levi? I wish I hadn't spoiled myself with the female titan. I know who she is, but still I wonder how she became a titan.     Tengo una palabra para estos mangas: Sublimes. Tanto en el arte en cada página como en la historia que poco a poco va tomando forma. Simplemente brutal. "Believe in yourself... or believe in me and them, the Survey Corps. I don't know the answer. I never have. Whether you trust in your own strength... Or trust in the choices made by reliable comrades. No one knows what the outcome will be. So, as much as you can... Choose whatever you'll regret the least."

    Story Big questions from this one, and if I hadn't been hooked on it before, I certainly would now. Questions introduced in this volume are a large part of why I had to jump into the manga after the anime ended. It's really transitioned from a monster/survival story to something much deeper at this point. Artwork I'm going to be redundant and say while it's improving with each volume it still doesn't hold up as well as anime.

Because of this, it’s interesting reading this knowing about Reiner, and watching his expression when Jean and Armin take on Annie. And Annie. Not killing Armin—who she really should’ve. She knows how smart he is. Ah, sentiment. Levi’s Squad grew on me more, which makes knowing things all the more sad for me. And then there’s Jean, which has finally grown on me. His little line about not wanting to hold/burn anonymous bones hurt, along with his conversation with Armin in the trees b I know stuff. Things, you know? Because of this, it’s interesting reading this knowing about Reiner, and watching his expression when Jean and Armin take on Annie. And Annie. Not killing Armin—who she really should’ve. She knows how smart he is. Ah, sentiment. Levi’s Squad grew on me more, which makes knowing things all the more sad for me. And then there’s Jean, which has finally grown on me. His little line about not wanting to hold/burn anonymous bones hurt, along with his conversation with Armin in the trees being interesting. He has a lot of pent up anger, I think. Kind of like Eren, though you can’t blame any of Jean’s anger on Titan-ness unlike anger. On a side note, Hange kind of scares me, even if she’s supposed to be entertaining (and she is?). As usual, some of the scenes were a bit hard to follow. Basically, a lot of the actions with the maneuvering gear was hard to follow, because just drawing single lines doesn’t always explain what happens. Then again, it’s the opposite problem sometimes. Sometimes there are too many lines when the artist tries to make a scene intense. I mean, it worked after a fashion. It was just frustrating once or twice to understand what they were doing. What some people might be uncomfortable reading about in this book because of personal opinion or belief (spoilers): mild swearing, violence and gore out the wazoo, and Titans are naked. No sexual organs, but it can be jarring and uncomfortable. People die. Some are eaten “on screen,” as it were. Basically, rated R. Proceed with caution. My Thoughts: Things are pretty hectic with that female Titan on the loose and searching for Eren. My Thoughts: Things are pretty hectic with that female Titan on the loose and searching for Eren. Eren doesn't understand why only Squad Levi is entering the forest and comrades are dying trying to stop the Titan that followed them in. He doesn't understand why they don't help them. It becomes clear when they reach the other side of the forest and trap the female Titan. I really want to know what she was doing. Does she want to kill Eren to keep him from helping humanity? Is what the Commander suspects to be true, the truth? What's really going on? Can't wait to find out!

    Woooot!! Another humanoid titan!! Who could it be!? There was a lot of awesome death and destruction in this volume, so I was happy... though I was kind of like "Why are they bothering trying to take this titan down when they know she's like Eren and is being controlled by a human... which makes her stronger and more unpredictable?" but whatever. YOLO right? :-p I can't wait to find out who it is!!

    Aaaaaannd the intensity continues!! The action is still just as wonderful and the plot will continue to hold you at the edge of your seat. There is definite character development with a few characters this time around and we also get to learn a bit Titan tactics. This is definitely a series that just keeps on getting better and better as it unravels from one page to the very next. I love it so very much!

    The first 5 books were an introduction but here we really start getting into the meat of the story. I am starting to understand why so may people love this series. It is just so interesting and the plot is not cliché. Though I am still having a bit of trouble remember who everyone is because they look similar.

    I love the plot of Attack On Titan - it just keeps me guessing! Sometimes I find the action kind of hard to follow; I don't know if it's because of the frequent time jumps, that there are so many characters, or that my brain just isn't very good at reading action manga art. Anyway, this was a great volume that definitely advanced the plot quite a bit!

    Such an important Volume: teamwork and trust. I love this series for it's creative ability to deliver an exciting narrative while it teaches humanity a lesson or two about living. The dystopian genre is my favorite.

    I loved this. Things got a little chaotic towards the middle, which was slightly confusing. I might have also been confused because I couldn't give it my full attention. I was sneaking some reading in while at church. Oh well. I still enjoyed the book. Now, on to volume 7.
