"BECAUSE where there is darkness, there will always be light" Well, this is another book Ive been waiting to come out like FOREVERRR . If you haven't read the previous books >>please stop here<< because my review may be kind of spoilerish. This last installment begins right after Gabriella's ascension. She's a "Dark Light" now - being half dark and half light - making her very special & powerful. Like in the previous books, Dorian's father - the Dark King - still wants to kill Gabriella. Of course he's not the only threat she has to face... Normally I'm not a big fan of the PARANORMAL genre. But somehow S.L. Jennings has managed to make me fall in love with this series and all the characters in it. Gabriella & Dorian's love is definitely "Out Of This World" OOOOOOH...AND MY WONDERFUL NIKO..how I loved him! Don't be afraid, there's no "real" love triangle here (view spoiler)[ Yeah..it's obvious Niko loves Gabriella - but it's so much more - I think the author did a great job here. Yes, they kissed and maybe made out a little - and I LOVED IT!!!! It was just right at the time. (hide spoiler)] There's just one tiny thing - maybe the epilogue could have been a little bit longer. Other than that - IT WAS PERFECT!! (view spoiler)[MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD!!(view spoiler)[ Even though my heart broke when Niko died :( (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

I wasn't that impressed with this book. I love this series but I just didn't think it was a worthy finale, especially since we had to wait so long for its release. Important characters were "taken care of" quickly and conveniently. For Jennings to make us love them in the previous books just to have this happen to them was so unfair. What little of Dorian was in this book he was so pussy whipped. He basically just did whatever Gabs wanted. What the hell happened to the Dark Prince that ruined tho I wasn't that impressed with this book. What the hell happened to the Dark Prince that ruined thousands of fangirls? He wasn't here. Fortunately, his brother, Niko, filled the slot. Niko was pretty much the Hero of the book. I do have to say that I was happy with his ending. This book took me several days to finish. The middle just dragged. Then when the action finally started it was over just as quickly. We never got to see Gabs come into her powers. That's what was most disappointing of all. When it came down to it she didn't do what she was born to do. I think everything that happened in the end could have happened with or without her existence. I liked what Stavros did to Dorian. I wish Jennings would have explored that more. But since we only got Gabrielle's pov we don't know what the hell he was doing for several chapters. And Gabrielle was passed out (she passed out a lot) when everything magically righted itself with Dorian. Poof! All is forgiven. No need for a discussion about what he did or didn't do with Aurora, who got hers in the end, by the way. I didn't feel any sincerity that Dorian might have been sorry for what went on while he was in that state. It irked me. It wrapped up too quickly, the ending was sloppy. Sad to say but Light Shadows is so forgettable. I'm so disappointed.

Going into this book I was told by numerous Jennings fans that Light Shadows was epic, and boy were they right. It wax epically bad, a disastrous ending to an otherwise wonderful series. I've never seen 5% of a book destroy my faith in an author this profoundly. Unfortunately, those 5% were also the final 5% of not only the book, but the entire series. Which is why I'm going to focus on those final percents, instead of the book as a whole. After all, there are plenty of in-depth reviews out there telling you why they loved the book. Or people like me, who hated it. We may be fewer in comparison but we do exist. But first, allow me to say that I did enjoy the way certain characters finally got what they so justly deserved. Others, unfortunately went out in a blaze of unholy glory that impacted negatively on an otherwise mediocre, but acceptable book. Almost from the beginning I found myself skimming large sections of this book, it didn't resonate with me the way the previous novel(la)s did. I quickly got bored with Gabriella's angsty woe-is-me attitude, Dorian felt like a card-board character and the villains were laughable. Even the sex scenes were disappointing. I couldn't believe it, they'd been so delicious in the two first novels! Luckily, Little brother Skotos stepped in and filled in for big bro. He was the crowning achievement in this novel. It felt like Jennings poured all her creative energy into him, so much so that he eclipsed the two main characters, which I felt was very weird. After all, Dorian has got such a rabid horde of fangirls out there. And sadly, I suspect those fangirls were the reason why Jennings felt she had to end things the way she did. At some point she must have realized that she'd written herself into a corner, and instead of rewriting the scenes, she chose the easy, but not very creative way out. Allow me to explain: I have discussed dark Shadows with some Dorian worshippers. (view spoiler)[ When I told them I though Niko's death at this point in the novel, destroyed the entire series for me, they basically told me that bad things do happen in real life. Well, you'll get no argument from me. In fact, that's exactly why i disliked the ending so much. Jennings knew the Dorian fangirls with be unhappy with Gabs shared affections, so she solved her dilemma *perfectly* by offing the competition. (hide spoiler)] If the fangirls wanted RL, then they should learn to live with her conflicted emotions, it would have made for a much better story. In reality, rivals don't usually (view spoiler)[ die such awfully convenient deaths. (hide spoiler)] In the end, Jennings reduced her most complex character to a "heroic" tool. It was utterly disappointing. And when I thought things couldn't get more cringe-worthy we get this cryptical message from a seer, telling Gabs that (view spoiler)[ the life she has lost lives within her now, all this while she's grieving Niko's death. Please, please tell me she's referring to life in general and DO NOT tell me Jennings was hinting he'd come back as their baby? (hide spoiler)] Because that would be some seriously kinky,Freudian, Oedipal shit, and even worse than (view spoiler)[ a HEA in the afterlife... (hide spoiler)] Ultimately the only thing I will take away from this series, is the feeling that Dorian and Gabriella's feeble love and HEA was eclipsed (view spoiler)[ even in death, by the love of a brother (hide spoiler)] who ultimately served as nothing more than a throwaway tool, and who deserved so much more than to be discarded on the altar of such a ridiculous and melodramatic revenge. Some sacrifices are necessary for a story to progress (like the events that took place in Nikolai - a story I gave 5 stars) others are just bad storytelling. I thought for sure I would re-read this novel, this series many times. Instead I'll most likely delete it from my kindle library. I'm just left with a very bitter taste in my mouth. This series used to be on my top 10 favorite series shelf, now the only top 1 award I'm willing to give it is for most disappointing series finale ever. I would have given this book 0 stars, but out of respect for Niko, I'll give it 1. Because he was a shining star... (view spoiler)[ Until he was no more. (hide spoiler)] This will be the last book I read by this author. She is of course free to write as she wishes, but an author who commits such a literary faux pas as this ending, is not someone I will choose to spend more money on If you're still unsure about my feelings for this novel, here's a summary: .

I've been a big fan of the Dark Light series since reading book 1 and waited anxiously for the release of this book. I dived into it right away, but found myself a little lost since it had been so long since I'd read book 2. I eventually went back and skimmed parts of the second book to refresh my memory. Once I did that, I was back on track and this story had my rapt attention. Unlike the earlier books in the series, I found myself being a little less forgiving of Dorian. Once I did that, I was back on track and this story had my rapt attention. Unlike the earlier books in the series, I found myself being a little less forgiving of Dorian. Gabriella just seemed to be a little bit too much of a pushover where he was concerned. I mean, how many times can he ditch you for the same tramp and get off with an "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." I'm usually pretty devoted to my book boyfriends, but I really felt that a roll in the hay with Niko would have been awesome! While this story was great and did deliver a HEA that has me hoping for a follow-up story, I did feel like there was a lot of build-up at times for nothing. There were several parts where I expected some big, angsty, emotional climax and it just kind of ended up being anticlimactic. Everything worked out the way I wanted, but for all the prep for the "big event" it really didn't seem like a big deal at all once it'd happened. There just didn't seem to be as much focus on the delivery as the build-up, I guess. If that makes any sense at all. All in all, I still wouldn't have passed this book up. Yes, I would have liked some more details and a little more angst at some points, but it was still a great conclusion and the Dark Light series is still one of my favorites. For someone that doesn't love a lot of paranormal stories, this series sucked me in and made me a fan!

This is what she said on facebook. 1. When is Light Shadows (Dark Light #3) being released? As of right now, I'm shooting for the fall. But nothing is set in stone. 2. Why aren't you releasing Light Shadows sooner? I am not a fast writer & there were other things, both personally & professionally, that demanded my attention. Life happens. 3. Will there be any Dark Light books after that? No. Light Shadows concludes the series. https://www.facebook.com/notes/sl-jen...

Wow, I'm having a serious book hangover and character withdrawal. I'm missing these character already hard - ok Dorian that is. I was waiting over a year to read the big finale of this kickass paranormal serial and now I'm sitting here, not knowing what to read/do next. Man, what a crazy ride this book was. We all know S.L. Jennings can write, oh boy can she write, but her paranormal serial is off the charts AWESOME! In this highly anticipate conclusion she went all out. She packed it with love (love that bordered on insanity), action, heartache, loss, grieve, growth, surprises.... dang, just everything. It made me feel; her characters and story made me feel in all the right and wrong places, and sometimes I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "...Gabs - not even death would keep him from you. That's the kind of love that people spend a lifetime searching for - the kind wars are fought for. It can't even really be described as love anymore. It's insanity of the heart." Oh how right Morgan was. Dorian and Gab's love is like them, otherworldly, and goes beyond anything and anyone. It's been one year since she saw him in this nightclub, one year that he turned not just her world but also her heart upside down. Everything Dorian does, he does it with intensity - loving Gabs is one of it. In this year both encountered some series stuff thanks to Dorian's father, the King and the she-bitch who shall not be named. Now that Gabriella ascended and is the Dark Light (the Divine's golden child) , accepting both parts of her bloodline, the King tries his hardest to make Gabs align with him, even if this means he has to kill every single one of Gabs loved ones....oh and don't think he wouldn't do just about that.. Jennings perfectly captured not only the main characters personality growth and struggles, but also her feelings in the book. The reader gets to know Dorian, the real Dorian on such a deeper level that we can' help but fall even more for him. I was a goner ladies, no kidding. He's like the hottest dark Prince ever - and Jennings' steamy scenes were so smokin' hot that I had to take several loooong breaths to calm the f down. Dang she can write a hot scene that makes me green with envy; lucky Gabs! The details in the book is another thing I adored. Jennings created a whole different world with different magical creatures and their caste system living among humans. A dull moment? Nope, you won't find in this book. I really have nothing to complain about; I absolutely loved every page. It's not that she didn't freak me out - she did big times. But she also made me tear up and utterly sad - but I've to admit it was for the better (you'll know why when you read it). Yes, we'll experience many losses so do it like me, have a bottle of wine ready. If you're looking for a steamy, intriguing new paranormal serial than I highly recommend those books. It's one of my all time favorite serials because it's packed with everything I'm looking for in a PNR book - sex, love, and magic. Characters to fall head over heels in love with. You know when you have high expectations about a book and you are super excited to read it but after reading the book you just want to cry because you are incredibly angry since it didn't turn out the way you were expecting? Yup! I'm feeling that right now. After the first two books being GOLD this book made me want to stop reading it. My main Issue was the bullshit that I read between Nico and Gabi. I don't understand why authors think it is okay to put a Love triangle in the last book of the series. Everything was going good and then BAM! It went downhill from the Love triangle. I Hated HATED Gabriela's character in this book. She was too whiny and childish and just made me want to smash her head. It was like her inner slut was on full display in this book and her character was shown to be EXTREMELY DESPERATE FOR ATTENTION. I mean dude! The girl apparently finds Dorian's father attractive and would like to "venture into murky, unknown territory". Hahaha Some of my Fav (not really) things that she said. "As repulsive as I know Stravros is,there's a part of me that will always be unnervingly intrigued by him. I can't help it. Maybe it's the way haunted eyes seem to pick me apart, bit by bit, until I'm nothing but tendon and bone. Or how his lips just barely twitch, hinting at the slightest of smiles, unknowingly making me yearn for a show of his approval. He is the darkest desire, the sweetest taboo. And no matter what i want, or how much I love his son, the dark in me craves to venture into murky, unknown territory" OR "What is wrong with me? First,I am practically making out with Dorian's mom and now I'm damn near eye-fucking his dad." WHAT THE FUCK? I'm not even going to get into this right now or the bullshit I read of Nico & Gabi. Altho I love Nico I don't really understand how he would almost sleep with his brother's Love of the life. The relationship between Dorian and Gabi was a joke and there was no chemistry or connection there. Gabi is one bitch I would like to slap the shit out of. Dorian on the other hand was a sweetheart and amazing. He says the sweetest things like, "Losing you is not an option, little girl, not when loving you is the only thing I have to live for". I really really liked his character. I just want to ask S.L. Jennings, What the hell happened? After giving us two amazing books in the series, This one was a BIG FRUSTRATING DISAPPOINTMENT. I found myself skipping pages and it just didn't do it for me But maybe that's just me :/ Nevertheless, I will be first in line to read her other new series because I really enjoyed her other books.

Overall I liked the book, but it made me go through so many feels!!! ***SPOILERS AHEAD!!!! Gabrielle and Dorian were separated for a majority of this book, and I have to say, I didn't mind that. I am #TeamEdward, #teamStefan, #teamFIRSTCOMEFIRSTSERVE, but in this book I am totally #teamNikolai, and they weren't even in a romantic relationship ever!!!! That just shows how much I like Nikolai better for Gabrielle than Dorian. Dorian just hurt Gabrielle throughout the second and third book so much!!!! I know it wasn't on purpose, and that none of it was his fault, but his presence in general is just arggghhh. AND THEN THAT FUCKING BITCH AURORA,WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE.....cunt. so glad that there weren't any scenes with the cunt and amnesia Dorian. Yeah, I don't want to read about the shit they went through.gawd I could punch a hole through a wall if I had to read that. So glad that the readers and Gabrielle was ignorant with all that. And Gabrielle had to go through a shit ton of tragedies in her life, how does she even function???? I totally wish the ending was longer, and wish someone didn't have to pass the death line.... I reread the series, and I just remember thinking "dang, I thought this was a typical young adult fantasy, why is this putting me through so many feels?"

If you know me, you know I don’t do paranormal like ever, okay okay except maybe I did Twilight but hello didn’t everyone and hello vampires that sparkle in the sunlight – sign me up! But I just don’t, but The Dark Light series, well it hooked me. I thought heck I’ll give it a try and Dorian (HOLY WET PANTIES) pulled me in and made me love all things Paranormal but only Dorian paranormal. S.L. has a way with words and a way a taking a story and turning it into life. For me Dorian is like my supernatural, paranormal Christian Grey. Sexy and sultry and all things out of this world, literally. He is commanding and passionate. The type of man you look at and just can’t say no too. If there is one thing about Dorian that never faltered it was his loyalty to Gabriella. From the moment he met he, originally sent to take her out before the dark and light collide into mayhem, he couldn’t do it. He fell for her almost immediately and his life forever changed. Throughout the series Gabs and Dorian went through hell and back to be together. Having struggled through the series Gabs is still leery about why Dorian, sex god incarnate, could possible love her. She still doesn’t see her true self, but Dorian does, he always had. "You can't fight them all, baby. I know you think you can, but I won't let you bargain with your life. Losing you is not an option, little girl. Not when loving you in the only thing I have to live for." Gabriella is so much stronger in Light Shadows than previous books. She is truly trying to come out of her shell and embrace her new life. When things get tough she doesn't back down. She stands up and fights for what she loves and what she believes in. She will die fighting the ones she loves if need be. She is passionate and determined and won't stop until there is nothing left in her. She gives her all and she proves that she truly is who she was born to be. --That's the kind of love that people spend lifetimes searching for -- the kind wars are fought for. At the end of The Dark Prince S.L left me with a big whooping case of book hangover and cliffhanger hell. So needless to say when she finally put out a release date it couldn’t come fast enough. I couldn’t wait to see what happened after the front door opened and everything changed. I wasn’t disappointed in the least. So much happens in Light Shadow, it comes full circle. There is love, betrayal, danger, angst, passion, choices, conflict, murder, fighting, you name it, it’s all here. Everything that has been building up from the first word written explodes in Light Shadow. You will find out the fate of everyone we have come to know and love. Stavros and Aurora, yep those mother truckers are back and still pieces of shit. Stavros is creepy as hell and needs to meet his maker quickly and Aurora still a bitter thing because Dorian is not in love with her. She still will stop at nothing to rib Gabs out of Dorian’s life. When those get teamed together things go from bad to worse. Dorian’s only mission to protect the women he loves even if it means giving up his own existence to do so. Niko is back and sexier than ever, (shy…oh Niko). When things went to hell in a hand basket part of me, my naughtier I don’t give a flying flip part, wanted to see Niko be naughty. I loved Niko, I wanted him happy. His character was strong and for the most part loyal in Light Shadows, he did what he knew he had to do. My heart ached for him, and tears were shed for him. The killings in Light Shadows shocked me, like never saw it coming shocked me. The fight scenes were like something you would see on TV filmed right in LA by some of the best directors in the movie business. I won't live my life in fear for one second longer. And I won't allow my people - the Light, the Dark, humans and every being with even just a touch of magic in their veins - continue to live in the shadows. This is the end. The end of Stavro's reign. The end of evil. And even if it means the end for me, I know that I cannot be afraid. I will not be afraid. Faith is my sword and my shield. With them, nothing can defeat me. Basically I could go on and on about Light Shadows and the full series really, however, I won’t bore you. Just read it! Dear sweet baby Dorian read it. Love it! Fall in love with Dorian and Gabs and the writing and the crazy brilliant mind of S.L Jennings. 5 out of this worlds starts and more if I could!

After waiting so long for this book to be released I'm sorry to say that it was a huge disappointment to me. First, I thought the story was boring. When she said how right it felt to have Niko with her or between her legs it made any words she ever said to Dorian seem like a lie. All the unnecessary drama with the deaths and removing memories did nothing for the story. Finally the end would have been a sweet wrap up if not for me no longer caring what happened to Gabs. I didn't believe her feelings for Dorian were true anymore. This book was a huge waste of time, nothing like book 2 The Dark Prince which was awesome.

After reading my previous reviews, I realized the thing I loved most about this series was Dorian. But Dorian couldn't even save this book for me. It took me 3 days to reach 42%, it was torture reading Gabs' long monologues. Not only that, the world building was nonexistent. I read a ton of paranormal and this was by far the most boring and unbelievable. After 42% I pretty much skimmed the rest of the book. Overall rating 1.5 stars. Just not the book for me.

Review will come later! ufff... I almost forgot to come back and put my thoughts down in writing... I can't say that I am thrilled, I am not! BECAUSE - the pacing is slower; - the plot is excluding the proximity of Dorian; - Gabriella is somewhat annoying (she 's supposed to have this huge power and she only gets a grip on it nearing the end of the story - ok, I am not being fair here, hell God knows it takes time to control it all, so ok, forget I said anything) BUT the main reason I am pissed her Review will come later! ufff... Syreeta didn't miss a beat in this conclusion. She didn't write a book that has rainbows and unicorns. It's hot and sexy and bold and sometimes heart wrenching. But in the end, it was all worth it.

I have NEVER had such misfortune when reading a book as i had reading this TRASH! I am beyond livid. I feel as if she would have been better off dying in the last book. The events in this book are horrible and the paltry excuse for an ending just made it worse because the author was clearly trying to make up for the horrid events that took place beforehand. I hate feeling that i wasted time reading something.

So bad. The heroine. Was a walking hormone that fancied any guy that paid her attention. She was hung up on her ex .. Even though she was so 'in love with the hero' then she tries to get it on with his brother. Feeling love for him!!! Wtf!!! Honestly she is so pathetic. Think I'm going to avoid all future books

“This is it. The moment we’ve all been preparing for. What people have suffered for, bled for. Died for. This is the end.” This is the end…. Gah….. Reading this novel was bitter sweet for me. This series is so special to me. It’s the one of the first series that I read that just blew me away where the characters jumped off the pages to you and took hold of you like a choke hold around your neck. I can honestly say this series is why I started blogging. Not enough people knew about this phenomenal “This is it. Not enough people knew about this phenomenal series and I felt like it was mission to get people to read it! Who cares if it’s categorized as Paranormal Romance but I saw this series as so much more than that! It’s a gut wrenching love story filled with passion, heartbreak, angst, and a whole lot of hotness. Sure there’s a sprinkle of magic but that just added to mystic of the series. If there was ever a series that I would tell people they must read, this is it! So much of Light Shadows ripped my heart out. It seemed like everywhere Gabriella went, death was waiting. From the beginning, she loses her closes alias. It seems like she never has a chance to mourn before another tragedy strikes. It becomes apparent that someone is looking to assassin Gabriella and stop at nothing to do. Nobody is safe. When the attacker is revealed and the events that unfold left me wanting to drop kick a bitch and stab their eyes out. I so did not see things unfolding like this and my heart shattered into a million pieces. Dorian makes the ultimate sacrifice for Gabriella and gives himself back to his father and requests the link between him and Gabriella be removed. Literally at this point I am yelling at my kindle! What. The. Fuck!!! No…no…no!!!! Dorian and Gabriella must be together… they must have their happily ever after right???!!! What Dorian doesn’t know is that when his father removes the link, he also removed his memory. The loving Dorian is gone replaced by an arrogant self-centered ass that didn’t care about anything or anyone. “That’s what the man I loved – love- had been reduced to. Him. I couldn’t look at him. I couldn’t try to see the person I had fallen in love with inside the monster who had threatened to rape and torture me until I begged for death. Whoever this person was, he wasn’t Dorian.” -Gabriella Gabriella retreats with Niko and the focus on getting Dorian his memory back. This takes them to new places and new friends and aliases are formed. The relationship between Niko and Gabriella grows and several times I am scratching my head thinking, is Gabriella falling for Niko? The dark are strong sexual beings and they have always have a friendly bond but without Dorian, Niko is there for her and gives her strength when she needs it. When all hope is lost, Niko is there to fill the void Dorian left. “You told me to let him go. I did what you wanted. Hell, I get that you’re hurt, but that doesn’t mean you give up! You don’t give up on the people you love, Gabs. Ever. You fight. You fight until you bleed. You fight until your reduced to nothing then you pick yourself up and you fight some more.” – Niko The battle is brewing between light and dark and when all said is done I was left shattered! Utterly and completed spent!!! I thought I didn’t have any more heartbreak left in me but SL Jennings proved you can squeeze blood out of a turnip as I was left speechless!!! I died! I’m left questioning how I can go on after reading what I just read and I’m not even done with the novel!!! But with the ending, my broken heart was picked up off the floor and was molted back together and when I read those two little words THE END, I was left in awe of what a phenomenal conclusion this was. Its epic, its stupendous, its freaking amazing! I am very sad the story is over but I am thankful that I experienced this fabulous series. This is just one of those series that must be read! It defiantly falls into the category of favorite series ever!!! Now I will leave you with this… “I love you, little girl… In life and death…from now until eternity. And when nothing more than dust and bone, Ill love you some more because you are, my density. I was placed on this earth to love you, and no curse or spell or enemy force could ever take you away from me.”

1st let me say, I been a fan of the "Dark Light series", since I read the 1st book, I was hook, when I finished reading the 2nd book "The Dark Prince", I couldn't wait for the 3rd book to come out, Ms. Jennings, left me screaming, with one hell of a cliffhanger, with a knock, knock and a hello daddy...Just couldn't wait for the next book, bitting my nails waiting for the conclusion of this amazing series...My anticipation was so high waiting for "Light Shadows"...So here I am done reading the la 1st let me say, I been a fan of the "Dark Light series", since I read the 1st book, I was hook, when I finished reading the 2nd book "The Dark Prince", I couldn't wait for the 3rd book to come out, Ms. Jennings, left me screaming, with one hell of a cliffhanger, with a knock, knock and a hello daddy...Just couldn't wait for the next book, bitting my nails waiting for the conclusion of this amazing series...My anticipation was so high waiting for "Light Shadows"...So here I am done reading the last book, Light Shadows and I was bit disappointed with it, there wasn't no big surprises, the character of Dorian, like always sacrificing Gab's for the name of love, and the sacrifice is breaking Gab's heart..Going to write some SPOILER so stop reading...Most of the book center around saving Dorian...Dorian father the evil king Stravros, turn Dorian evil and on top of that didn't even remember Gab's and what she mean to him...The only way to bring back Dorian is finding a light enchanter by the name of Lars, who is willing to help Niko (Dorian young brother) and Gab's...Now more or less the plot of this book consist of Gab's and her posse saving Dorian and bringing back the Dorian that we all know and love and save him for his evil father and the evil as hell X girlfriend Aurora (I hated this character)...In the mean time, while working on a plan to save Dorian..Gab and Niko are hold up in a hotel room and this is the part of the story line that goes down hill from here at least for me...Niko and Gab have a good relationship, they are very close, to close for my tastes at this point...Gab instead of thinking of the love of her life Dorian, she having sexual thoughts of Niko ewww..Granted Dorian hurt her before he was turn evil, but it hasn't been the 1st time that he sacrifice himself to save Gab life, so she should had known better and why he did things the way he did, specially when they was no way out...So going back to Gab and Niko, like I wrote, instead of thinking of Dorian, she fantasizing about hottie Niko..Case in point, Gab's thoughts "He swiftly moves past me into my room to check it out and I get a whiff of soap and male mixed with his natural ocean scent, his black hair is still damp from his recent shower and he wearing nothing but silk pajama bottoms, I can't even be sure there anything under them..Only when my eyes are forced to travel up his body to meet his worried gase do I realize that I had been studying his abs, I swallow and lick my lips" ahhhhhh WTF...By this point, I am not liking where the story line is heading, because I really do loved these characters, specially the love that Dorian and Gab have for each other and for Gab having sexual thoughts when it comes to Dorian hot and sexy as hell brother, just didn't work for me...At one point they almost had sex, if Niko didn't stop , Gab would had kept going till the end, because at this point Dorian became nonexistent, at this point I stated to dislike the book, I started to disrespect the character of Gab, I just didn't like how Ms. Jennings took these two beloved characters, because no matter what, Niko and Dorian are brother, who love and respected each other and to have Gab and Niko almost having sex, just lost it for me and no matter what Gab did after, I have lost my respect for her so I really had a good laugh when finally Dorian was save, he ask Gab to marry him and she said YES, I couldn't stop laughing because it wasn't not even a few days before when she wanted to have sex with Niko and couldn't stop thinking about his abs ahhhhh , so yes, I am disappointed with this book, I was waiting for it for so long, even the ending was short, it was like Ms. Jennings ran out of paper and wrote "The End"

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. WTF! So sad, I kind of liked the first books, but this one was just sooooo bad! I have never done a review, and I had to do one because it was such a great disappointment. What a waste of my time :( This girl was supposed to be 21 years old and behaved like a 5 year old immature kid. Just horrible. And seriously her "love" for Dorian was sooo fake. If you like the type of girl that gets involved with two brothers just because she can (such a hoe), then this book is for you. But if you are not in WTF! WTF?! Just WTF? ! I can't make it passed this overwhelming WTF feeling. I'm being generous with the 2 star rating. I just..... I can't even talk about it. {x_x) Nothing can make up for the Niko situation. HEA my ass. Just cowardly..My fave quote in the book:“Always keep your head held high, child. For even the most timid mouse can wreak havoc on a great and mighty house.” ― S.L.
