Rarely has a book moved me as much as this masterpiece did. I laughed, I cried, I learned how to operate my Kindle Paperwhite.

Lacked in plot. I feel like the plot device is good, but the characters are lacking in spirit. The plot never progresses; indeed, I would go as far as to say the plot doesn't even exist. So much potential. The Kindle Paperwhites journey is hardly even described, and it mostly focuses on world building and information dumping. Very disappointing novel. I hope the sequel will at least have a plot.

Useful guidebook for the Paperwhite. If you are into reading, it is worth taking the time to get familiar with the device you will be holding in your hands for months of your life when all is said and done. ;-)

The book is spot on in terms of content. However, I think this can be considered as how a book for the kindle should be distributed. Most cover pages do not look good on the Kindle but the cover page for this use guide looks elegant, I wish Amazon Distributes the unpackaged source of this book as the template to the publishers so that they can leverage the best practices that went into designing this book.

This would be especially good for a new user. However, even though I had used the Kindle Touch for 2+ years, I still learned things about the Paperwhite that I didn't know.

It's what it needs to be, no more, no less. It is interactive, and easy to get through.

After finishing it, I proclaim it an excellent book. With a very focused character pool, the novel still creates an epic story that can be remembered for ages. Though somewhat short, what the book lacks in material, it makes up for in balanced, well written storytelling. The author, Amazon, made it apparent that he/she strives for quality over quantity. A highly recommended read, and very enjoyable.

I was trying to read a book on my kindle, but because of the format, I had to stop reading it to read this one. Sighing. It's not like I am a newbie with my kindle. I've used it for several years now. However, even after reading the kindle instructions, which were very clear, I was unable to read the former book in an easy fashion. It has to be tweaked several ways because somehow the previous book's format simply does not work with my paperwhite kindle. I will read the book, but I had hoped to I was trying to read a book on my kindle, but because of the format, I had to stop reading it to read this one. Sighing. Useful. I was familiar with the paperwhite but learned some interesting facts while reading it. I know it will be a good reference to use in the future when I am not sure about paperwhite use or to find information about features Amazon offers to use with it.

give it 4 point because i don't want any recommendation of this kind of book by goodreads, though i suppose it can get 5 point indeed.

A great resource for using the Kindle Paperwhite. I'm sure I'lll be back from time to time to squeeze out the most from my Kindle.

Pretty good book. I felt like I was there. I can not see Janet being realistic, she just seems like she is too crazy to be relatable to. I did like how the author decided to kill off Janet at the end. She was really bringing me down along with the rest of the characters. I hope she doesn't come back in the next book or else I will probably stop reading this series. -Tyler

This is a book I go to for reference. It's pretty good, but one question I had was answered in a single sentence in the book that told me to go to an online website for the answer. Unfortunately it took me a while searching thru the book to find that sentence. A very good book for a beginner!

Life changing. Fascinating commentary on the duality of man and technology's role in mankind's development. Highly recommended for anyone interesting in the revolutionary technological wonder that is the Kindle Paperwhite.

it's so entertaining, a real page turner, with some life-altering plot twists at the end of each and every chapter. Obviously, being sarcastic for fun .... decent book, quite informative on how to use a kindle.

There were some things I didn't understand about the latest Kindle software so I checked out this book. It wasn't all that useful and I mostly figured things out by myself.

I absolutely hate my Paperwhite. My original Kindle (yes, the 2nd gen Keyboard) was by far the favorite possession I'd ever owned, and I used it constantly - to find new Kindle books, to read, to see what was coming up that was "Noteworthy", and MOST importantly, access all my titles quickly and easy according to whatever I was in the mood to read! So disappointed when I could not order another one. Or if you're going to make changes - make it BETTER! If I had just a few minutes to read, I did n I absolutely hate my Paperwhite. So disappointed when I could not order another one. Or if you're going to make changes - make it BETTER! If I had just a few minutes to read, I did not have to look endlessly at book covers (hard to read, time-consuming to scan visually confusing covers). I could instantly find the books I wanted underneath the Collections I named. The surface of the screen was pleasurable and almost silky to the touch, unlike the sandpapery-feeling screen on my Paperwhite. And please - all the mounds of unwanted crap taking up space! Come on! I didn't order it and I don't want it! The Paperwhite is ruining my previously magical experience with Kindle! I had recommended for years that my friends go with a Kindle instead if another E-Reader. Now I'm just as vocal about how extremely disappointed I am with the Paperwhite. I had to tap several screens just to get to the opportunity to change my font size - which I am used to doing frequently to make reading easier in varied lighting conditions. I read the guide several times. It's confusing and, no matter how many times I read it, it does not alter the fact that we were shortchanged on the features we enjoyed with the Kindle Keyboard. It's not the keyboard buttons I miss, but the inability to create collections and view them quickly in list form, NO Voice Enabling (WHY???), the much faster side page-turn buttons, and the responsive, silky-touch screen. Just ruins it.

Since I read the manual cover to cover, I've been able to figure out how to use my birthday present without having to besiege the givers with questions - or even ask one question. I'm proud of myself. :-)

This instruction book came with my copy of the Kindle. It explains many functions of the device and gives tips on how to use it most effectively.
