Armageddon PDF, ePub eBook On Avilon Not Even the Truth Will Set You Free . . . The Real Enemy is Within   Omnius has been hiding a lot from the people of Avilon. The war with the Sythians is not what we thought, but that raises the question: if not the Sythians, then what did Omnius go to fight in the Getties Cluster? The war with the Sythians is not what we thought, but that raises the question: if not the Sythians, then what did Omnius go to fight in the Getties Cluster? Humanity is Being Held Prisoner   Omnius knows what people will do before they do it. He predicts citizens' behavior, and some suspect, he even makes those predictions come true. For those who wish to be free of his influence, Avilon's lowermost city, the crime-ridden, shadow-filled Null Zone is the only option, but it is becoming increasingly apparent that not even the Nulls are free, and there is a more sinister reason behind The Choosing than the one Omnius gave.   As Omnius's predictions begin to come true, Ethan Ortane realizes he could lose the one thing that matters most to him in the universe--his family. There is a Rebellion Stirring   Far from Avilon, the Sythians are hiding out in the neighboring Getties Cluster. Out there they discover something that wasn't supposed to exist: a group of human rebels that escaped from Avilon. Their leader, Therius, seems to raise more questions than he answers, but he has a plan to defeat Omnius that just might work. And the End is Drawing Near   As Therius's plan unfolds, people realize the terrible truth: he can't win by conventional means, and he knows it. The alternative is called the Armageddon Protocol, but it could mean the end of everything, not just Omnius. . . .

Ultimately I liked this book and I must say it was tough going at times! I got a little confused by all the clones! I stuck with it because I do so like the main character of Ethan Ortane. There was much philosophizing which I got a bit tired of but hey, that's the author's prerogative. I appreciate that authors explore many themes and that's the beauty of writing. I will continue to read Jasper T Scott.

The finale to Dark Space had so many twists and turns, it was hard to decide who to root for and who to dislike. What was the truth and what were the lies. Of course what drew me so deep into this story we’re the characters that we followed along this journey and their potential outcomes. Love triangles were formed, especially when it came to Ethan Ortane and I always wondered throughout this series if he would stay with Alara, end back up with Destra or Miss Admiral Vee of the resistance. Not to mention, Atton’s quest for love and whether it would work. Would everyone be able to live the rest of their lives with the ones they were meant to be with? Would Avilon continue to exist under the control of Ominous and who was this AI god really? Coming to book 6, I had so many questions which were all answered and as much as I did not want this series to end, I could not wait to finish it. I know this may not be a true review of the story but if you can make it through the first book, hopefully you can become as emotionally invested in the characters that were there in the beginning Andrew those that came and left as we reached the conclusion.

It's over! After six books I can't believe it's finished! I really, really enjoyed reading these books. I wasn't so sure about them when I started however I quickly became hooked. The writing is intense and keeps you reading and the story is so clever it's amazing. This book and book five were also quite philosophical about life and freedom which was another interesting twist. Everything comes to its conclusion in this book and you won't be disappointed. Well worth the read. If you're looking for a It's over! After six books I can't believe it's finished! Good SciFi Series This 6th book is really long. It's good, but just know that sometimes it feels like it will not end. I enjoyed it but there were some places where I just wanted to skip ahead. I didn't because I was afraid I might miss something important to the plot. Mr Scott's books are very readable, but this one could have been a bit shorter and just as good. I do Recommend it.

Another fantastic book. A great book that has a theological feel that is loaded with twists and plots. Science Fiction is a great distraction. Not being religious myself, I found the book really interesting as it offers a different slant on poplar beliefs. Just read them all. Phil

Interesting Read . The last book got me all twisted up but he got it untwisted at the end, thank goodness. But I'm not sure the new god is any better than the old one. He needs to write another to get rid of the last false god.

The end An enjoyable series, although the earlier books were more exciting and fun to read. All the known races in the galaxies are descended from humans? A bit of hubris there, don't you think?

A satisfying conclusins to the Dark Space series. A bit confusing in spots due to multiple clones of people running around, but that's probably just me. Like the rest of the series, this was very readable amd I plowed through it quickly.

Enjoyable overall, due to the twists & turns in the plot. I found some of the characters shallow & annoying (eg Ethan) but the overall plot held it together. Would have been 5 stars with better characters.

The final part in this great space opera does not disappoint it's epic in everyway. With monumental space battles and finally the true about the Immortals and mankind is revealed. A true page turner which is face paced and an incredible read

In prior reviews of earlier books in this series I used comments like: "Blown Away", Breathless", "Surprised", etc.. All of these still apply to Book Six and I'll add Shocked, Disappointed, Sad, Glad and Angry but all in a good way. This book will draw you in and evoke all kinds of emotion; it's much more than entertaining, it's Stimulating. I also found myself asking which is better; doing the Right thing for the Wrong reason OR, doing the Wrong thing for the Right reason? I think) There are so many twists and turns you'll be sure and not sure what to think. This is NOT a "Cozy-Beach" read and you'll have to think while reading this book(Gasp). I enjoyed this series so much I'm about to put aside all other reading material and read this again starting with book one. I've done this with several James Michener, Stephen King and Tom Clancy books and I expect this second reading will be even more enjoyable (and all the other emotions mentioned above) than the first reading. I've already recommended this to my three daughters who are working professionals with families because I believe it will be worth their limited time. Oh, yours as well. Review by "THE HOLEY ONE"

I loved the first 4 books of the serie. Great plot, wonderful characters, simply OMG sometimes! I had more troubles with the 5, Avilon, as the plot and the rythm was different from the first books. I loved the story anyway but I was lost as some point because it was a real twist in the storyline. For this book, I have great troubles to explain what I feel about it. It is a great book as the other. Beautifully written, great plot, amazing characters. That was great to read. But... at some point, I ge I loved the first 4 books of the serie. All the Omnius-Therius's thing was sometimes difficult to understand for me, particularly as english is not my birth language and so I probably didn't grasp every hint of the story. But I really loved the end of the story and of the serie. That's a serie I'm sure to reread soon!

A great story overall As I just finished the 6th book I can say that has been an amazing journey thru the saga, Im a SciFi fan and this was epic! The ending you didn't see coming If you have gotten this far in the dark space series, then you are going to finish it right? I loved and hated the ending, because it is an ending, and no more from this series will be written. The action is paced well. Editing is excellent. The sixth and final book in the Dark Space series and the fight for Avilon reaches its conclusion. As Omnius continues to rule with an iron fist, taking freedom of choice from humanity. A new group is building its forces, led by the mysterious Therius, who brings humans, Sythians and Gors together in a new union, to take on Omnius. This is a very good book and keeps the high standards set in the previous five. I just finished this book and all I can say is “WOW”. Most sci-fi books are predictable, but this one had me guessing till the end. Each time I thought I understood something, I later realized I was wrong as something new was reviled. The ending was one of the best, if not the best sci-fi endings I’ve ever read. If you like a series that has good, in depth characters, more than just space combat, and lots of twists and turns, this is the series for you.

Enjoyed it This was a really good series. I worried about the negative reviews for this final one, but need not have. I didn't find it the least bit confusing and these days confusing is my normal state of mind. I didn't read any religious stuff into it either. I guess you could if you wanted to. I think at the end there were still questions on whether THAT person was God or just a race of advanced aliens. Think it ended the best way possible for everyone concerned.

The end to an enthralling space opera. Exciting in places and puzzling in others, and extremely well written. Although thought provoking, I felt it could have ended with more of a bang. Nevertheless I thoroughly enjoyed the whole six books, and would recommend it to anyone interested in science fiction adventure.

I ended up liking this series,it took its twists and turns here and there then back again....But it brought you to its end in a way I didn't expect it would.....It was hard to get into this series at first but it had a way of drawing you in even though it got a little boring but has it got to the last of the books I had to find out how it ended....

The entire Dark Space series has been an awesome story. And Armageddon is like the frosting on top of the cake. When humanity finds out what Omnius's real motivations are, some decide they no longer want to be part of it. But as powerful as Omnius is, defeating him was thought impossible. But help is out there, you just have to have faith. Dark Space is a must read.

Good complex layered stories A good mode to wired space opera involving many complex themes. The characters are well developed and full depth . It was interesting to see the various threads and themes intertwined to leave the full fabric of the story .
