I found this book to be one that I didn’t want to put down until I’d finished it. I was caught by the characters immediately. A young lady who finds herself compromised by a Duke and basically kicked out of her home. The Earl of Pennington, who was in Book one, is suffering from PTSD after the war comes to her rescue. Together they help each other deal with their problems. A good read.

What an Inspiring Story To feel so desolate with your life to try and take it is a terrible thing but if you fail and find hop in it’s place is a wonderful thing and the writing of this story makes you feel all of these things.

The Earl This is a cute little love story born from heartbreak. Two hearts that needed mending, so they healed each other.

Romantic I loved that both main characters had demons to overcome. This was not the usual girl hates boy and then a happy ending. I would read other books by this author

Nice little read. I like that Josephine is not pregnant by choice, by making a mistake in love, and that she works through her depression as she's recovering. Austin also needs healing from his trauma, and Josephine is his confidante. I would have had the epilogue be a bit later, with the same conversation, but her pregnant again. Enjoyable book. KU
